These photos were taken in the Fall of 2012 while studying biology. All four of these images were taken through the lens of a microscope. The first two are of my hair, the third is a fungus and the last image is of plant matter. I love the interaction between science and art in any context but I especially love the circular images that are produced through the lens of microscopes. I would love to get my hands on an old microscope and see what other images I can create.
